This is Brett Favre. You might know him from his Super Bowl XXXI win as quarterback for the Green Bay Packers, or for his 2022 defamation lawsuit related to allegations made against him in a Mississippi welfare funds scandal.
If you've been around on this round rock at all over the last few months, you're aware that a portion of the American populace — especially those whose politics lean, let's say, to the right — cannot be normal about Benito performing during the big game. To wit: Turning Point USA, the media company founded by murdered influencer Charlie Kirk and now overseen by his widow Erika Kirk, is throwing a counter-halftime show headlined by — who else? — Kid Rock.
Now, I'm going to guess that you weren't wondering which halftime show Brett Favre was planning on tuning in for. But in case you were — he's broken his silence, thank God (sarcasm obviously intended).
While quote-tweeting his 4th and Favre co-host David Kano, Brett said, "Not familiar with Bad Bunny so don't know if his music is good or bad. I'm just going to watch what I know Lee Brice, Kid Rock All-American Halftime Show."
